Manhattan may no longer offer full sidewalks, streets filled with honking motorists, and the same atmosphere, but this doesn’t mean that it isn’t still worth a visit. That being said, no area will offer the same feel and atmosphere it did before the pandemic. Unfortunately, the pandemic has ravaged many places and left behind what feels like a horror movie. While this is even the case with Manhattan, it doesn’t mean that there still aren’t endless skyscrapers, beautifully crafted buildings, and billboards filled with fun advertisements. These are just some of the things that have made the city know for what it is. And, there are still plenty of other things. Below, you will learn why you should still consider visiting the city. The Empire State Building
What needs to be said more about the Empire State building? This is not only one of the most iconic buildings in New York, but it is one of the most iconic buildings in all of the world. It’s one of the most well-known iconic landmarks and still open to the public. Been remodeled and upgraded several different times over the years, you can still embark on the exciting journey to the top. The construction was completed in the 30s after a close race with the Chrysler Building. The building soars at 102 stories and offers 86 floors of exciting and breath-taking views. Get to the top and take pictures from the observation deck. It might be scary, but you’ll be glad you did it. This is a once in a lifetime kind of experience.
Bryant Park
Central Park might be the most well-known park in all of New York, but that doesn’t mean Bryant Park isn’t worth a visit. Small and quaint, but it is still quite lively, despite this horrible pandemic. Being just a hop and from the public library, you can always pay a visit and learn more about the history of this amazing place. If you are lucky enough to be here during the winter month, you will certainly not want to miss out on the ice skating or winter scenes.
New York Public Library
Speaking of the public library, this is certainly one that you’ll want to see in person. While most people don’t think of books or history as much of a vacation, you’d be more than surprised at what this place has to offer. You’ll probably recognize the library right away when you set eyes on it, as it’s been featured in many movies and photos over the years. It’s one of the most popular libraries in the world and a hot spot for many students, professors, readers, and bookworms.
